Welcome to a captivating journey of creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange! Today, I am thrilled to share with you the remarkable process of creating the Dory shirt from start to finish—a journey that began in Ghana, and traversed continents to reach its final destination in Dallas, Texas.
Inspiration and Design:
Every masterpiece starts with a spark of inspiration. For this project, I drew inspiration from my fondest memories of lying in the grass (hiding from everyone really) with the sunlight dabbling through the tree leaves.
Creating Impressions:
Focused attention and skilled hands imprinted the carefully designed pattern onto the fabric. I love the unpredictability of hand prints, each shirt though similar cannot be replicated.
Color choice:
I definitely wanted something vibrant and chose yellow reminiscent of sunny days. We know yellow is a fav of ours.
