Name: Kendall Morgan

Occupation: Copywriter, Journalist and Editor

Passion: Besides what I do for a living, I live for art, interiors, travel, raising my kid to be a thoughtful, curious human being—all the important things that make the world go 'round. I'm also pretty passionate about connecting people and helping to make cool things happen in the city I live in. I'm hoping to do more of that in 2016, as well as launching my lifestyle blog!

Favorite Weekend Past time: I need a lot of downtime to just reboot my system. I typically spend about two hours per weekend just reading in the bathtub—as indulgent and slothful as that sounds! I tend to have at least one writing project that needs attention, but I try and make time to hit some local art galleries and museums or just have brunch or dinner with friends. Oh, and Netflix and chill.  Cultural Appropriation Wax prints

Favorite eats: I literally could eat tacos for every meal: Breakfast, lunch or dinner, soft or hard shell—bring ‘em on!

On your Playlist: This is the worst question to ask me because I really don’t have one. However, like most people, I’ve been in a bit of a Bowie phase lately.

What are you reading: I’m currently about a quarter through “City on Fire,” which really captures NYC in the late ‘70s. After that I need to start “Gods and Kings: The Rise and Fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano” for a virtual book club I run on Facebook.

Fervent Wish: To be able to slow down enough to work on some of my passion projects. I think it’ll be a significant year, and I’m really going to step out of my comfort zone and do some craz(ier) things than I normally would. Just to continue to experience life to its fullest and stay in the moment.

NB Favorite: I really love wax prints so it’s hard to choose, but probably the Coco dress or the Teena dress—they’re both really flattering and make the most of your waist!

How do you feel about and or what are you doing for Valentines Day?

My husband will be in New York working on an off-Broadway show so I guess I'll buy my kid some chocolate and work! What a horrible answer! In the grand scheme of things, every day should feel like Valentine's Day, right? My favorite holiday is Halloween.
